Key Responsibilities:
- Define and own the product vision and multi-year roadmap for ethics and compliance systems, data, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Align product strategy to core E&C program priorities (policies, training, transparency, monitoring, risk detection, mitigation).
- Establish clear value and outcome metrics (e.g., risk reduction, decision consistency, cycle-time improvement, adoption).
- Partner with Global Compliance Operations and Ethics & Compliance SMEs to identify unmet needs and improvement opportunities.
- Translate compliance needs into product requirements, user journeys, and prioritized epics/features.
- Own and continuously prioritize the product backlog, balancing regulatory urgency, user impact, value, and delivery feasibility.
- Partner with IT and platform teams on solution design, engineering, security, and operations; ensure clear handoffs and decision rights between Compliance and IT.
- Guide pilot-to-scale transitions (target operating models, support needs, enhancement roadmaps).
- Lead productization and adoption of AI-enabled compliance capabilities, including:
- Compliance-specific Copilot Studio agents
- Human-in-the-loop workflows
- Automated compliance content generation within guardrails
- Risk detection signals, insights, and operational dashboards
- Efficiency-enhancing capabilities for global compliance teams
- Ensure products embed governance, transparency, explainability, and auditability; define responsible-AI standards with Legal, Privacy, Security, and Risk.
- Evaluate emerging technologies; own end-to-end product lifecycle (strategy β delivery β adoption β measurement β iteration).
- Implement structured feedback loops; ensure systems are fit-for-purpose, usable, and sustainable.
- Lead product adoption strategies (communications, training, demonstrations, success metrics) and build AI confidence across the compliance community.
- Maintain cross-functional partnerships (Compliance, Legal, IT, HR, broader business) and oversee budget/investment prioritization; represent Gilead externally in relevant forums.
Minimum Education & Experience:
- 12 years of relevant compliance experience with a bachelorβs degree in related field, or 10 years with a masterβs degree.
