Role Summary

Lead Janssen's global commercial strategy for Precision Medicine (PMx) to enable companion and complementary diagnostics programs across therapeutic areas, with location in Raritan, NJ. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and launch PMx initiatives aligned with brand strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute the global PMx strategy in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders in the global and regional organization.
  • Lead the design and implementation of PMx strategy for companion and complementary diagnostics programs with Global Brand Teams, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Market Access, and CDTs across Therapeutic Areas.
  • Represent TA commercial priorities and provide commercial diagnostics expertise and guidance for CDTs at various stages of development.
  • Lead commercial evaluation of diagnostics platforms and seek new products/technologies to support the PMx strategy in collaboration with the cross-functional team.
  • Develop and implement plans for successful launches of PMx programs and partnerships, ensuring global access to strategic solutions aligned with brand strategies, working with PM Market Access, PM Partnerships, PMx Leaders and Regional PMx experts.
  • Provide day-to-day oversight of diagnostic partnerships with testing laboratories or test manufacturers, including input, coordinating customer and partner education, data lab strategy, and governance meetings.
  • Educate internal stakeholders on the CDx market and critical success factors; contribute to building internal capabilities required for long-term CDx commercialization.
  • Contribute to internal and external communication pertaining to companion diagnostics as appropriate.
  • Support the commercial evaluation of diagnostics platforms in support of companion or complementary diagnostic strategy.
  • Develop and oversee budgets for assigned initiatives; manage consultants/agencies for key projects.
  • Build competitive advantage by understanding customer needs and competitors’ strategies; develop internal and external relationships that drive business objectives.
  • Provide timely guidance to partners and senior management regarding strategy and key brands.
  • Establish a productive work environment within Therapeutic Areas through trust and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Marketing Management, Molecular Diagnostics, Chemical Engineering, or related field; 8 years of experience in the job offered or in a Director Global Data Science-related occupation.

Additional Requirements

  • May telecommute per company policy (hybrid).
  • Up to 25% domestic and international travel required.
