Director, Global Alliances - Obesity, Metabolic, & Specialty

Role: Lead and manage strategic alliances for AbbVie's Obesity, Metabolic, & Specialty portfolios, focusing on accelerating pipeline development and commercial success. Responsibilities: oversee alliance governance, facilitate joint decision-making, and serve as a strategic advisor to leadership; support business development through evaluation, structuring, and negotiation of new partnerships; optimize alliance performance through process improvements and best practices; foster a collaborative partnering culture. Qualifications: minimum of five years' experience in pharmaceutical development, commercialization, or alliance management; advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, JD, MBA, or similar); strong understanding of drug research, development, and commercial processes; proven strategic, analytical, and negotiation skills; excellent stakeholder influence in global, matrixed organizations.
