Director, FP&A - Commercial

Role: Strategic Director of Commercial FP&A, partnering with Commercial leadership to drive financial planning, forecasting, and performance analytics supporting commercialization efforts. Responsibilities: lead annual and quarterly financial planning processes, develop robust models and business analytics, analyze key performance metrics like revenue, sales efficiency, and pricing; provide executive-level reporting and actionable insights; support strategic investments and resource allocation; enhance FP&A processes and systems to scale commercial operations. Requirements: Bachelor’s in finance or accounting; 10+ years in FP&A, finance business partnering, or commercial finance within biotech, pharma, or healthcare industries; deep expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance management; proven ability to influence senior leaders and translate complex data into strategic recommendations. Preferred: MBA and/or CPA. High-Value: supporting post-clinical-stage biotech firms focused on rare diseases such as PBH, Wolfram syndrome, and ALS; experience in revenue forecasting, commercialization, and market access; familiarity with biotech product lifecycle stages, from launch through scale-up. Work setup: Remote US-based role with travel to Cambridge, MA several times a year; candidates must have reliable internet and privacy-compliant work environment.
