Director, Finance Transformation

Role: Lead and manage enterprise-wide finance transformation initiatives at AbbVie, partnering with executive leadership to develop strategic roadmaps for organizational change across People & Change, Process Improvement, and Technology Enablement. Responsibilities: oversee end-to-end project lifecycle including value assessments, resource alignment, risk management, program governance, and stakeholder communication; mentor program managers; ensure initiatives align with strategic objectives and deliver measurable impact; facilitate cross-functional collaboration and reporting; design change management strategies and oversee training and adoption metrics; promote continuous improvement and innovation within finance operations. Requirements: Bachelor's in Finance or related field; 12+ years of progressive leadership experience; strong financial acumen, project management expertise, and ability to influence senior stakeholders; proficient in data analysis, dashboards, and process diagnostics; excellent communication, conflict resolution, and team development skills. Preferred: experience with large-scale transformation programs in global finance organizations, familiarity with automation and emerging technologies.
