Corporate Functions
Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and manage financial and operational internal audits globally across manufacturing, commercial, distribution, and administration sites/functions.
- Report audit results to senior management and the Audit Committee via the VP, Internal Audit.
- Provide consultation on policy interpretation, internal controls, asset security, and allegations of financial noncompliance.
- Conduct ongoing risk assessments and, based on results, plan/schedule/staff audits in alignment with IT Audit and Compliance Audit.
- Assess adequacy of internal controls; review accounting, financial, operating, and sales/marketing compliance controls and integrity of accounting records.
- Develop and execute the Audit Committee-approved audit plan, including compliance testing of company policies and regulations.
- Develop data analytic tools/processes to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness.
- Occasional travel to worldwide locations to direct engagements and address urgent situations.
- Interface with company leaders and external/peer audit networks to track emerging risks.
- Recruit, train, develop, and place high-potential finance/accounting professionals; support their growth and performance.
- Supervise a team of ~11.
- Provide periodic executive-level reporting on audit matters.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (graduate degree preferred).
- CPA strongly preferred.
- 12+ years related experience, including public accounting and/or internal audit in financial/operational audits; prior management experience required; experience focused on financial management/controllership.
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international operations.
- Strong familiarity with financial and operational auditing procedures.
