Director, Field Reimbursement Lead – West (field-based)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a regional team of Field Reimbursement Directors supporting the U.S. Oncology Business Unit (USOBU).
- Provide strategic leadership and mentorship; ensure consistent execution of national strategies across patient access, payer policy, and patient support programs.
- Drive operational excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and optimize patient access across the oncology portfolio.
- Build relationships with USOBU sales leadership; align access strategies, metrics, and messaging with Pricing, Access and Value priorities and brand planning.
- Use data to identify regional access barriers and partner with cross-functional teams to develop/execute targeted initiatives.
- Ensure compliant execution via forums, field coaching, and engagement with healthcare professionals.
Minimum/Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business/management/marketing or related field (required).
- 10+ years in biotech/pharma; 5+ years patient access or relevant reimbursement (required).
- 2+ years “buy and bill” (required); 3+ years field reimbursement management (required).
- Experience: buy-and-bill reimbursement, specialty pharmacy, payer dynamics, copay assistance, HUB services (required).
- Oncology launch experience for oral and injectable products (highly preferred).
- Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, executive presence; collaborative leadership; exceptional communication.
- Must reside in assigned area; travel 50–75%; valid driver’s license.
