Director, Field Reimbursement Lead – West (Field-based; reports to Head of Field Reimbursement)
How you will contribute:
- Build, lead, and empower a high-performing regional team of Field Reimbursement Directors with expertise in access, coverage, and reimbursement across all sites of care
- Cultivate a collaborative, inclusive, results-driven team culture with accountability and proactive engagement
- Provide ongoing performance management, coaching, and talent development
- Establish and foster relationships with sales leadership across the US Oncology Business Unit (USOBU) to drive alignment and business impact
- Partner with the Head of Field Reimbursement to shape access strategies, tactical execution, performance metrics, and aligned messaging supporting Pricing, Access and Value priorities and brand planning
- Use data/insights to identify access barriers and partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Patient Services, Strategic Account Management, Market Access) to develop targeted initiatives
- Drive consistent, compliant execution via team forums, field coaching, and engagement in key meetings
- Ensure adherence to compliant ways of working across cross-functional partnerships and field interactions
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Marketing, or related field (required)
- 10+ years biotech/pharma experience, including 5+ years patient access or relevant reimbursement experience (required)
- 2+ years ‘buy and bill’ experience (required)
- 3+ years Field Reimbursement Management with proven ability to lead/develop in a matrix environment (required)
- Experience with buy and bill reimbursement, specialty pharmacy, payer dynamics, copay assistance, and HUB services (required)
- Oncology launch experience for oral and injectable products (highly preferred)
- Strong business acumen, strategic/analytical thinking, executive presence; collaborative leadership credibility
- Exceptional communicator (verbal and written)
- Commitment to Integrity, Fairness, Honesty, Perseverance
- Must reside in assigned area; travel 50–75%; valid driver’s license
