Director, Field Reimbursement Management - HIV Prevention - West

Role: Director, Field Reimbursement Management (FRM) – West for HIV Prevention, overseeing a team of FRMs to ensure patient access to Gilead's therapies. Responsibilities include leading and developing the reimbursement team, fostering cross-functional collaboration, maintaining expertise in reimbursement policies, and engaging stakeholders such as healthcare providers and payers. The role focuses on navigating complex insurance landscapes, advocating for patient access, and leveraging market intelligence to inform strategies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 12+ years, Master's with 10+ years, or PhD with 8+ years in pharmaceutical or healthcare reimbursement, preferably within specialty pharmacy or biotech sectors. Experience in large provider account management, knowledge of pharmacy benefits, payer landscapes (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial), and familiarity with HUB services and multiple buying models is preferred. The role demands strong leadership skills, industry knowledge, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to travel approximately 75%. The position reports to the Sr. Director, National Field Reimbursement Management, is field-based with remote flexibility, and involves developing talent, fostering inclusion, and aligning team goals with organizational objectives.
