Director, Field Medical, Rheumatology - East

Role: Director, Field Medical – Rheumatology, East, leading and mentoring a team of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) to drive scientific engagement with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers in alignment with Takeda US Medical strategies. Responsibilities: manage team performance, develop and implement tactical plans, oversee external scientific interactions, ensure compliance and training, maintain scientific expertise in rheumatology, and foster cross-functional collaborations. Requirements: doctoral degree in life/health sciences (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent) or master’s in health sciences; extensive experience as an MSL or in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry; proven leadership, strategic planning, and team management skills; strong communication and digital proficiency. High-Value: focus on rheumatology, supporting marketed products and investigational compounds; 40-60% travel; location in East region (remote options available). Reporting to Senior Director, Field Medical.
