Director, Field Medical, Rheumatology - East

Role: Director, Field Medical – Rheumatology, East, leading and coaching a team of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) to drive scientific engagement with KOLs, HCPs, and healthcare entities aligned with Takeda's medical strategy. Responsibilities: manage team performance, develop and implement tactical plans, oversee external scientific activities, provide scientific training, ensure compliance, build internal and external relationships, and contribute to strategic decision-making. Qualifications: Doctoral degree in life/health sciences (PharmD, MD, PhD) preferred; minimum Master’s in health sciences; extensive experience as an MSL or similar role; proven leadership, team management, and scientific expertise in rheumatology. HighValue: Rheumatology, biologics or small molecules, clinical development, and scientific training; travel 40-60%, home-based in the East Region.
