Director, Field Medical, Rheumatology - East

Role: Director, Field Medical – Rheumatology in East region, leading a team of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) to engage with KOLs, HCPs, and healthcare entities, aligning scientific activities with Takeda's medical strategy. Responsibilities: manage and mentor MSL team, develop and execute annual tactical plans, oversee scientific engagement, ensure team performance and compliance, foster collaboration with cross-functional partners, and maintain therapeutic expertise. Requirements: doctoral degree in life/health sciences (PharmD, MD, PhD) or Master's with relevant industry experience; extensive experience in medical affairs or as an MSL; proven leadership skills; strong communication, digital proficiency, and understanding of regulatory and compliance standards. High-value: Rheumatology therapeutic area, field-based role, significant travel (40-60%), strategic team leadership, and scientific expertise in Takeda’s products and investigational compounds.
