The role involves maintaining scientific expertise in rheumatology, ensuring compliance, managing budgets, and supporting professional meetings. Qualifications: Doctoral degree in life/health sciences (PharmD, MD, PhD preferred) or Masterβs with extensive pharmaceutical industry and Medical Affairs experience. Proven leadership, strategic planning, team mentoring, and MSL experience required. Skills: strong communication, digital proficiency, knowledge of regulatory and ethical standards, and experience in the therapeutic area. High-value specifics: rheumatology focus, virtual/hybrid work setup in Florida or other US regions, with 40-60% travel. The position reports to the Senior Director, Field Medical, and entails managing a team that supports Takedaβs specialty pharmaceutical portfolio in the US.
