Director, Field Medical - Gastroenterology (West)

Role: Director, Field Medical - Gastroenterology, overseeing and coaching a team of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) to drive scientific engagement with KOLs and HCPs in support of Takeda's gastroenterology portfolio. Responsibilities: lead team performance, develop tactical plans aligned with medical strategies, ensure compliance, utilize digital tools for insights and reporting, and foster collaborations across Medical and cross-functional teams. Maintain scientific expertise in gastroenterology and Takeda products, guide team training and development, and manage the annual budget. Requirements: Master's degree in health sciences or higher (PharmD, MD, PhD preferred), extensive experience in medical affairs and MSL roles, proven leadership and strategic planning skills, and strong digital literacy. Preferred: prior team management experience and in-depth knowledge of gastroenterology scientific data.
