Director, Field Medical - Gastroenterology (West)

Role: Director, Field Medical - Gastroenterology (West) at Takeda, leading and mentoring a team of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) to foster scientific engagement with KOLs and HCPs aligned with US Medical strategies. Responsibilities: oversee team performance, develop and execute tactical plans, ensure compliance, utilize digital tools, manage budgets, and build cross-functional relationships; maintain therapeutic expertise in gastroenterology, including Takeda’s products and investigational compounds. Requirements: Master’s degree in health sciences or higher (PharmD, MD, PhD preferred), extensive experience as an MSL or similar role, proven leadership, strong communication skills, and proficiency with digital and AI-enabled tools. Preferred: advanced scientific degrees, prior team management experience, and specific knowledge of gastroenterology.
