Director, Field Medical - Gastroenterology (West)

Role: Director, Field Medical - Gastroenterology, leading a team of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) in the US West region to drive scientific engagement with KOLs and HCPs. Responsibilities: manage and mentor the MSL team, develop and execute strategic plans, oversee external scientific interactions, leverage digital tools for performance enhancement, and foster cross-functional collaboration. Ensure team compliance with ethical and regulatory standards, provide scientific training, and maintain expertise in gastroenterology, including Takeda’s marketed and investigational GI products. Requirements: Master’s degree in health sciences (minimum), with extensive experience as an MSL or in a similar role, proven leadership, and strong communication skills. Preferred: Doctoral degree (PharmD, MD, PhD), prior experience managing scientific teams, and in-depth GI therapeutic area knowledge.
