Director, Field Market Access

Role: Director, Field Market Access responsible for payer engagement, reimbursement strategies, and patient access support for Beam's gene therapy portfolio, including the investigational product risto-cel for Sickle Cell Disease. Responsibilities: negotiate with payers, execute market access strategies, educate providers on billing/coding, monitor payer trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Medical Affairs, Operations, Key Account Management); build relationships with professional societies and advocacy groups. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (advanced preferred); 10+ years in biotech/pharma, with 5+ years in field-based market access roles; hospital and payer experience, especially with complex therapies; proven relationship management with payers and Treatment Centers; buy & bill expertise; experience with cell or gene therapy preferred; strong communication, negotiation, and cross-functional teamwork skills; proficiency in CRM, PowerPoint, Excel; willingness to travel ~50%.
