Role: U.S. Federal Policy Director focused on healthcare policy relating to drug affordability, access, pricing, reimbursement, and delivery reform impacting government programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid). Responsibilities: develop and execute policy strategies, draft and submit public comments on federal regulations, provide strategic guidance on legislative and regulatory developments, analyze policy impacts on Pfizer's products and pipeline, and engage with external stakeholders including industry associations and think tanks. Collaborates closely with internal teams such as US Policy & Government Relations, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Commercial units to shape Pfizer's policy position and advocacy efforts. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 8+ years’ experience in federal healthcare policy or a master’s with 7+ years; expertise in U.S. healthcare programs, policy analysis, and advocacy; strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills. Preferred: experience with CMS drug coverage/payment systems, Congressional legislative staff, and health policy organizations; proficiency in PowerPoint. High-Value: U.S. healthcare policy, federal advocacy, Medicare/Medicaid, regulatory analysis, stakeholder engagement; hybrid role based in NY or Washington, DC, with travel as needed.
