Role: Lead U.S. federal healthcare policy efforts for Pfizer, focusing on issues like drug pricing, access, reimbursement, and system reforms impacting government programs such as Medicare and Medicaid. Responsibilities: develop and execute policy strategies, shape Pfizer's policy positions, draft public comments, and provide strategic guidance on legislative and regulatory developments. Engage with external stakeholders, including government agencies and industry groups, to advocate for policies supporting innovative medicines. Monitor healthcare policy landscape for trends affecting patient access and Pfizerβs pipeline. Collaborate across internal teams including US Policy & Government Relations, Commercial, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs. Requirements: Bachelor's degree, 8+ years of federal healthcare policy experience, preferably with knowledge of US government programs, policy analysis, and advocacy; advanced degree in public health, policy, or law preferred. Skills: strategic thinking, project management, excellent communication, network building, and ability to operate in fast-paced environments. Preferred: experience with CMS drug coverage/payment systems, Congressional or agency experience, and proficiency in policy and quantitative analysis. Work setup: hybrid (NYHQ/Washington DC), 2-3 onsite days/week, travel as needed. Salary range: $176,600β$294,300, with bonus and long-term incentives. The role emphasizes leadership, strategic policy advocacy, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement within the biopharma healthcare policy arena.
