Role: Senior Federal Government Relations (FGR) professional supporting Pfizer’s policy advocacy with U.S. Senate Democratic Members. Responsibilities: develop and execute lobbying strategies, build relationships with Senate offices, monitor legislative/regulatory developments in healthcare, drug pricing, IP, tax, and innovation; prepare briefing materials and advocacy content; represent Pfizer in industry coalitions; advise internal stakeholders on Senate activities; coordinate external consultants; maintain deep knowledge of Pfizer’s portfolio and policy priorities. Requirements: Bachelor's degree; 8+ years of experience in government, policy development, or pharma industry; strong understanding of Congressional processes, legislative and advocacy skills; excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Preferred: experience with Senate Finance, HELP, Judiciary, or Appropriations Committees; expertise in healthcare reimbursement, Medicare/Medicaid, pharmaceutical pricing, trade, or tax policy; ability to translate business priorities into legislative influence; experience in political strategy and stakeholder engagement. High-Value: U.S. federal policy, healthcare/pharma sector, legislative advocacy, Capitol Hill familiarity, policy analysis, stakeholder management, hybrid work setup with travel (~20%).
