Director, End-to-End Systems Integration
Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic Alignment & Integration Governance
- Own the strategy and operational framework for GCS-facing end-to-end systems integrations.
- Partner with business system owners, IT, and SMEs to align integration priorities with business process needs, system roadmaps, and operational risk.
- Support governance for integration dependencies, enhancements, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
- Ensure integration approaches align with enterprise architecture, data flow standards, and validation expectations.
Integration Operations & Health Monitoring
- Oversee monitoring of critical integrations, including proactive issue detection, exception handling, and escalation.
- Define, track, and report integration KPIs and incident trends with IT support teams.
- Coordinate triage and resolution of integration defects/failures with IT, vendors, and business system owners.
- Provide visibility via dashboards, status reporting, and management reviews.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as connector between GCS business teams, IT, and Business System Owners.
- Translate between technical issues and business impact, and between business needs and technical requirements.
- Partner with SMEs on functional requirements, data mapping, exception handling, and operational support.
- Coordinate with vendors on interface changes, upgrades, testing, and production support.
Continuous Improvement & Robustness
- Improve robustness, reliability, scalability; reduce manual intervention and simplify architecture.
- Lead/support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
- Plan future-state integration capabilities and resilience.
Delivery Support & Lifecycle Management
- Assess, test, and implement integration changes with appropriate controls and documentation.
- Support release planning, cutover readiness, and hypercare.
- Ensure compliance with applicable GxP, validation, and data integrity requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
Experience:
- 10+ years progressive experience in pharma/biotech/supply chain/IT or related.
- 5+ years supporting complex SAP integrations/interface operations or digital initiatives.
- Experience with SAP integrations, IRT/RTSM, Veeva, and external vendor interfaces in a regulated environment.
Technical & Operational Skills:
- Strong SAP Supply Chain Management understanding.
- Integration platforms: OpenText, Informatica, SAP BTP.
- Define/track KPIs and service metrics for digital health/performance.
- Familiarity with validation, change control, SDLC, and GxP in regulated environments.
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Influence stakeholders without direct line authority.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and issue resolution.
- Translate business needs to technical implementation considerations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masterโs/MBA.
- Dashboarding/service reporting or integration observability tools.
- Exposure to clinical supply chain/clinical operations/pharma manufacturing systems.
- PM/ITSM/systems integration certifications.
