Position Overview
The Global Clinical Supplies Digital Transformation Leader delivers high-impact digital initiatives supporting the GCS digital roadmap. Own the strategy and execution framework for specific roadmap pillars and translate strategic vision into operational delivery.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Head of Clinical Supply Systems, collaborate with IT teams, GCS business leaders, DSCS Digital Technologies, Global Clinical Trial Operations, and external vendors to deliver solutions on time, on budget, and at scale.
Primary Activities
- Lead execution of critical digital initiatives within the GCS digital roadmap.
- Drive project delivery from business-case development through implementation and hypercare.
- Orchestrate matrixed teams (GCS business experts, Enterprise IT partners, data scientists, external software vendors) to deliver aligned digital capabilities.
- Coordinate change impact assessments and end-user adoption strategy; ensure GCS teams are trained to use new capabilities.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to measure user adoption, process efficiency gains, and ROI.
- Ensure GCS-owned systems comply with relevant GxP requirements (if applicable) and contribute to SDLC deliverables with IT partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or related field.
- 10+ years progressive experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology/highly regulated manufacturing.
- 5+ years hands-on leading major technology implementations/digital transformation in clinical supply chain/clinical operations/pharma supply chain.
- Proven delivery of complex digital projects (Agile/Scrum or waterfall). ERP (SAP), RTSM/IRT, or advanced data platforms preferred.
- Ability to influence/manage cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong GxP understanding, CSV practices, and pharmaceutical data privacy standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masterโs or MBA.
- Certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Prosci).
- Experience delivering AI/ML pilots or RPA in clinical environments.
- Experience with clinical supply planning systems.
