Director, Digital Health (Cell Therapy)
Responsibilities
- Identify, conceptualize, evaluate, and prioritize digital health products and services; serve as single point of contact from inception to maturity with Cell Therapy stakeholders.
- Identify DH opportunities to enhance patient outcomes; collaborate with Cell Therapy Development and/or Brand teams.
- Partner with clinical teams, translational research, and market access to embed digital solutions (e.g., SaMD, remote patient monitoring) into care delivery and trial design.
- Drive development of regulated digital health solutions and real-world data platforms supporting the biomarker-driven cell therapy portfolio.
- Collaborate with academic institutions, technology vendors, and alliances from preclinical through lifecycle strategy.
- Build business cases using analytics and prioritization (ROI, probability, effort, timelines); run proof of concept/feasibility studies.
- Develop deep DH expertise (technology evolutions, key players, regulation updates) and maintain competitive insight.
- Ensure lean start-up methodologies for speed/agility while enabling effective decisions in a matrixed organization.
Key Accountabilities
- Accelerate digital project time to market using prioritization, Agile, and MVP mindset.
- Lead end-to-end projects from problem identification to delivery; establish partnerships to address monitoring, engagement, HCP needs, safety, and market expansion.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration (drug development, trial design, data science, cybersecurity, data privacy) for robust, compliant solutions.
- Mobilize governance and execute approved strategy; communicate with senior leaders and external stakeholders.
- Drive commercialization and scaling of cell therapy and remote patient monitoring solutions; develop KPIs/analytics strategy; support regulatory strategy/Health Authority engagement (e.g., FDA for SaMDs).
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelorβs degree in engineering, health tech, healthcare, pharma marketing, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ years in digital health/health tech (or related).
- Proven experience launching SaMD/medical technologies/AI algorithms; managing third-party partnerships.
- Demonstrated global cross-functional leadership; Agile/sprint and project/program management expertise.
- Expertise leading DH programs in health tech, medical devices, or pharma desirable; Cell Therapy/Oncology background desirable.
