Role Summary

Director, Digital Enterprise Capabilities Strategic Partner, US Business. Jazz Pharmaceuticals seeks an experienced professional to be the strategic partner to the Commercial organization and manage the portfolio of Commercial data and technology projects in support of Customer Experience evolution, product launches, and brand growth opportunities. The role collaborates with Commercial Business Operations, Analytics, and Market Access to deliver capabilities for field teams and customers, and serves as a trusted advisor to manage risks, dependencies, and change management for data and technology initiatives. Responsible for developing and embedding the Product Operating Model across DEC and Commercial support functions to accelerate value and minimize duplication.

Responsibilities

  • Become a trusted advisor and business partner for the Commercial Leadership team with mutual accountability for achieving Commercial goals.
  • Lead a team, develop key talent, and define clear roles and responsibilities to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Commercial leaders and cross-functional teams to identify, design, and deliver platforms and capabilities (e.g., CRM, Marketing Capabilities, dashboards) that enable better customer engagement.
  • Work with Commercial functions to formulate and prioritize ideas, influence key decisions, allocate resources/budget, and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Create and manage the Commercial data and technology strategy and roadmap across business units; identify risks and dependencies.
  • Develop and enhance the Product Operating Model across the DEC team and Commercial support functions to accelerate time to value and minimize duplication of effort.
  • Establish guiding principles, best practices, and governance processes for the internal operating model and elastic outsourcing model.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors, Masters or advanced degree in an IT discipline, with a minimum of 7 years of increasing responsibilities in the IT function.
  • Demonstrated ability to create a shared vision and inspire collaboration across sales, marketing, and other Commercial functions to drive change with impact.
  • Proven ability to lead within a Product Operating model including user feedback assessment, value/viability definition, and product roadmap creation.
  • Domain knowledge in the pharmaceutical commercial or healthcare area is desired.
  • Experience navigating ambiguity and change with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering large, complex projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership success in management, including building or leading a team or department.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to set clear priorities to meet timelines, motivate others, and manage budgets.
  • Demonstrated track record of creative problem solving and strategic abilities.
  • Some travel required (10-20%).

Education
