Director, Data Integration Engineer

Role: Data Integration Engineer specializing in Medical Affairs AI solutions, responsible for designing, building, and operating data pipelines to source and integrate data across enterprise systems for AI-enabled platforms. Responsibilities: develop reusable, production-grade data pipelines aligned with architecture standards; implement integration patterns supporting AI/ML models, such as RAG pipelines and vector databases; ensure data governance, privacy, and compliance including PII masking; collaborate with architecture, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver timely, reliable data access; and promote best practices in data engineering and automation. Requirements: Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field; 8+ years in data engineering, API design, ETL/ELT pipeline development, with proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, and modern data platform technologies; experience with AI/ML data access patterns, data governance, and privacy standards (GDPR, HIPAA, GxP); familiarity with pharma or life sciences data, including systems like Veeva CRM; strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Preferred: experience in regulated industries, advanced technical degrees, API middleware, event streaming, and GraphRAG patterns. Work setup: hybrid (NYHQ or PA-Collegeville), with some travel and off-hours work as needed.
