Director, Cybersecurity Risk Operations & BISO

Role: Director of Cyber Risk Operations & BISO, responsible for establishing and maintaining cybersecurity risk management capabilities across Insmed. Primary objectives include governance of security standards, continuous control monitoring, risk evaluation, and reporting to executive leadership. Responsibilities encompass acting as the cybersecurity advisor for assigned business units, collaborating with IT and project teams to embed security into technology projects, managing cybersecurity incidents, and leveraging AI and automation for security governance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field; 10+ years in information security controls, audit, or risk management; minimum 5 years of leadership and stakeholder management experience; strong technical knowledge, data analytics, and communication skills. Preferred: industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA), prior experience in pharma or healthcare sectors, consulting background. High-value specifics include a focus on cybersecurity within biopharma, risk management for R&D, Global Product Development, and commercial units. The role is hybrid based in Bridgewater, NJ, with some remote work and collaborative in-person days. Salary range is $185,000–$252,500 annually.
