Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Leadership, Strategy, & Technical Roadmap Development
- Set and drive technical direction for Customer Analytics & Insights and Performance Analytics & Optimization teams in line with product/enterprise priorities.
- Own budget/resource allocation; translate roadmaps into scalable architectures and development plans.
- Ensure KPI frameworks, governed measurement, and decision-ready analytics across brands/channels.
- Ensure scalable, secure, reliable solutions for: Consolidated Insights Products; Enterprise Reporting Products (e.g., Power BI); Digital Analytics + In-house Marketing Mix; Predictive Analytics Products.
- Manage vendor partners and lead workforce/capability evolution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Primary technical accountability across both analytics suites; partner with architects, security, and data teams for compliance.
- Coordinate roadmap dependencies/integrations; represent technical architecture in forums.
- Align on shared data infrastructure and AI/ML enablement; resolve cross-team technical issues.
Technical Skills (Required)
- Deep software/cloud architecture knowledge; scalable, secure, compliant enterprise solutions.
- Enterprise analytics platforms integration (e.g., BI/analytics, marketing mix, predictive products).
- Analytics data modeling (star/semantic models), KPI definitions, reusable datasets; CI/CD, quality gates; data contracts/lineage/SLAs.
- Predictive model lifecycle (deployment, monitoring, drift, retraining/retirement) with explainability.
- Integration patterns/APIs; Agile product delivery; security/compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (CS/engineering/IS or related).
- 10+ years post-Bachelor’s (or 8+ post-Master’s) in software/architecture/enterprise platform delivery.
- 3+ years as Tech Lead/TPM/Engineering Manager (managing developers).
- 6–8 years leading people.
- Hands-on: Python/R; cloud data platforms (Redshift/Snowflake).
Preferred
- Advanced degree; pharma/healthcare experience; rare disease/specialty brands; product-operating-model leadership.
Working Requirements
- 10–20% travel.
