Operations
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement long-term operational strategies for Critical Utilities and Facilities Maintenance for a complex pharma/biotech campus.
- Lead organizational development: team structure design, role definition, workforce planning, and optimization across internal staff and outsourced service providers.
- Establish and continuously improve maintenance, reliability, and capital planning programs to enhance performance, resiliency, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Provide executive oversight of the Central Utility Plant and Powerhouse operations; partner to ensure safe, reliable, uninterrupted utility delivery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, R&D Operations, EH&S, Quality, Procurement, and Capital Projects to support operations and campus growth.
- Drive governance, performance management, and strategic vendor oversight (metrics, operational reviews, budget planning, risk mitigation, continuous improvement).

Qualifications/Required:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Power/Marine/Energy Engineering; or 15 years equivalent experience (Navy Nuclear Power School + 10 years accepted).
- 10+ years leading central utility/power-plant operations (chilled water, steam, emergency power) within a hybrid FM model; strong contract management and vendor governance.
- Proficiency with BAS platforms (e.g., Metasys, EcoStruxure, Desigo).
- Proven team leadership.
- Valid NYS driverโ€™s license; up to 25% travel.
