Job Description
Reporting to the VP, Corporate Strategy & Projects, the Director serves as an enterprise strategy expert and strategic problem solver, advancing enterprise priorities through thought partnership, insight generation, structured problem solving, and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to)
- Conduct strategic analyses and synthesize insights of market dynamics, competitive developments, business performance, and industry trends to inform enterprise priorities and decisions.
- Develop strategic frameworks, recommendations, and executive-ready perspectives on key business issues.
- Support corporate strategy development, planning processes, strategic assessments, and scenario planning.
- Lead strategic workstreams and projects supporting enterprise priorities; determine scope, approach, and prioritization.
- Develop execution plans, governance approaches, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities impacting strategic outcomes; drive delivery by managing risks, resolving issues, and maintaining momentum.
- Partner across functions; build alignment through structured problem solving, clear communication, and integration of diverse perspectives; promote enterprise-first thinking and high-quality decision-making.
- Prepare executive-ready analyses, presentations, and recommendations; support leadership discussions, strategic workshops, and offsites.
- Contribute to a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement; support onboarding and development; participate in leadership development initiatives.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree and 10+ years relevant experience; or Masterโ€™s/MBA/PhD/MD and 8+ years relevant experience.
- Experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate development, business operations, finance, or related fields.
- Working knowledge of the company portfolio, business model, and strategic priorities.

Preferred Qualifications
- Biotechnology/pharma/healthcare/life sciences experience.
- Successful leadership of complex, cross-functional projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, strategic thinking; ability to translate analyses into actionable recommendations.
- Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority; strong written/verbal/executive communication; advanced PowerPoint/presentation.
- High emotional intelligence, learning agility, comfort operating in ambiguity; strong attention to detail and quality.
