Director, Corporate Strategy Group

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate enterprise discussions on external trends, competitor strategies, and potential disruptors; translate into strategic choices.
- Shape corporate priorities and drive clarity/alignment on sources of growth (therapeutic areas, modalities, platform capabilities, etc.).
- Lead high-priority strategic initiatives to drive transformative change and position AbbVie for future success.
- Support long-range strategic planning, including working with leaders to share strategies with AbbVie’s Board of Directors.
- Partner with and advise the senior leadership team on relevant functional topics.
- Support communication of AbbVie’s strategy across the enterprise.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree required; PhD or other advanced degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a top-tier consulting firm with healthcare experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment across senior leaders; influence without authority.
- Strong analytical skills with working knowledge of financial concepts.
- Strong oral, facilitation, and written communication skills; ability to distill complex information.
- Executive presence, comfort with ambiguity, and strong judgment.
- Hybrid role: at least three (3) days onsite, Tuesday–Thursday, in North Chicago, IL.
