Director Corporate Counsel Transactions

Role: In-house legal counsel specializing in licensing, business development, and strategic collaborations within the biotech/pharmaceutical sector, based in Sleepy Hollow, NY (hybrid). Responsibilities: negotiate and draft complex agreements (licensing, collaborations, services), advise senior management on transactions, support alliance management and IP strategies, and ensure legal compliance across regulatory and corporate law domains. Manage external counsel relationships and oversee legal strategy and budgets. Requirements: JD with strong academic credentials, 8+ years of experience in biotech or life sciences contract law, preferably with in-house biotech experience; licensed or eligible to practice law in NY; proven track record in strategic alliances, deal structuring, and risk analysis. Preferred qualifications include biotech sector expertise and experience managing high-volume client requests. High-value specifics: focus on licensing, collaborations, and strategic transactions in biotech/pharma, involving complex deal structures, IP, and regulatory considerations. Work setup involves a hybrid model with onsite presence 4 days/week in NY.
