Main Purpose of Job:
- Shape and execute the Corporate Business Development strategy to drive growth.
- Identify, evaluate, and execute licensing, collaboration, and M&A opportunities that expand Immunocoreโ€™s TCR platform and therapeutic pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and evaluate external opportunities across oncology and autoimmune indications (platform technologies, early-stage assets, late-stage/commercial products).
- Translate corporate strategy into actionable search criteria; assess fit with pipeline, platform capabilities, and commercial footprint.
- Lead transactions end-to-end (outreach, term sheet development, negotiation, and contract execution) for licensing, collaborations, and acquisitions.
- Coordinate diligence across R&D, clinical, regulatory, manufacturing, commercial, legal, and finance.
- Prepare and present investment cases to senior leadership/executive committees; support Board-level materials as needed.
- Build and maintain relationships with biotech companies, academic institutions, venture investors, and advisors.

Essential Qualifications:
- Strong scientific background paired with business acumen.
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in science, finance, business administration, or related field.
- Knowledge of biological therapeutics; evaluate pre-clinical and clinical opportunities in oncology/immunology.
- Experience scouting drug development partnerships (academic and commercial).
- Demonstrated deal execution across diverse structures (in-/out-licenses, platform deals, research collaborations).
- Established industry network.
- Knowledge of alliance structures, industry trends, and competitive issues in biopharma BD.
- Ability to conduct meaningful scientific discussions with internal/external experts.
- Drive solutions on complex, ambiguous problems.

Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD/MBA (life sciences) and/or exposure to oncology drug discovery/development.
- 10+ years in biotech/pharma business development, venture capital, life sciences consulting, or related.

Other:
- Reports to VP Head of Business Development.
- Travel required.
