Director, Compliance Business Partner

Role: Legal and Compliance Business Partner supporting Vertex's Office of Business Integrity & Ethics (OBIE), focusing on developing and maintaining the company's global compliance program. Responsibilities: advise on legal and regulatory issues related to biotech/pharmaceutical activities, including anti-bribery, anti-corruption, FDA regulations, and compliance standards; serve as a compliance representative on leadership teams; collaborate on training, communications, and program enhancements; maintain knowledge of evolving laws and enforcement actions; build relationships across legal, HR, audit, and other functions; support continuous program improvement. Requirements: 8-10 years post-JD experience, preferably in-house at a global biotech/pharma company or law firm, with strong expertise in FDA regulations, anti-kickback statutes, False Claims Act, and related guidance; excellent communication and judgment skills; proactive and adaptable work ethic; legal degree required.
