Director, Compliance Business Partner

Role: Legal and Compliance Business Partner within Vertex's Office of Business Integrity & Ethics (OBIE), focusing on providing strategic guidance on regulatory and ethical compliance across global operations. Responsibilities: advise on laws including anti-bribery, anti-corruption, False Claims Act, and FCPA; support development and improvement of Vertex’s Compliance Program; collaborate with Legal, HR, Internal Audit, and other teams; assist in training and communications on compliance policies; monitor legal developments; and promote a culture of integrity. Qualifications: 8-10 years post-JD experience in biotech/pharma legal compliance, with strong knowledge of US and international laws applicable to pharma, including FDA regulations and anti-kickback statutes; in-house experience preferred. Skills: effective communicator with strong analytical, organizational, project management, and stakeholder engagement abilities; capable of handling sensitive issues with discretion.
