Director, Communications and Government Affairs (CGA) Product & Pipeline

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute integrated CGA strategies for assigned oncology medicines/indications across development, launch, and lifecycle.
- Serve as CGA lead on cross-functional asset leadership teams; integrate communications/policy into asset plans.
- Partner with senior leaders (Medicine Commercialisation, Medicine Development, Global Medical) and matrix partners to advance assigned assets.
- Create launch communications, policy and advocacy plans (global-to-local model) to support launch readiness and commercial ambitions.
- Build asset and disease narratives using GSK science, clinical data, and innovation to engage external and internal audiences.
- Identify policy opportunities/challenges with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Value & Access, Pricing, and regional/local teams; develop global and market-specific strategies.
- Prepare senior leaders and spokespeople materials (talking points, Q&A, media briefings, stakeholder materials, presentations).
- Develop high-quality content (press materials, messaging platforms, communications plans, data communications, videos, patient campaigns, digital assets, stakeholder materials).
- Coordinate with CGA partners across channels and priority markets; manage supporting agencies.
- Manage news flow to maintain consistency and impact.
- Adapt strategies in response to scientific, regulatory, competitive, and policy developments.
- Lead issues anticipation, preparedness, and reputation management; proactively identify and manage risks.

Qualifications (Basic):
- 10+ years in Communications/Government Affairs/Public Affairs/Corporate Affairs in pharma/biotech/healthcare.
- Experience executing integrated communications and stakeholder engagement strategies for medicines/health initiatives.
- Experience supporting product development, regulatory milestones, data/congress communications, launch readiness and/or launches.
- Experience advising senior leaders in complex business environments.
- Experience managing agencies and leading cross-functional initiatives across markets/geographies.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical communications regulatory/compliance/governance.
- Ability to influence without authority.

Qualifications (Preferred):
- Oncology experience and/or strong understanding of oncology treatment and stakeholder landscape.
