Director - Commercial Systems, Data Management & Governance

Role: Lead the design, development, and management of Alumis’ commercial data ecosystem to support accurate, accessible, and decision-ready data for the organization. Responsibilities: oversee data integration from diverse sources (pharmacy, claims, CRM, syndicated data), establish cloud-based data management and governance frameworks, implement Master Data Management strategies, and champion AI and advanced analytics adoption across commercial functions. Collaborate closely with IT, legal, and commercial leadership to ensure data quality, compliance, and strategic alignment. Lead AI/ML projects for brand strategy, launch planning, customer engagement, and omnichannel optimization, establishing best practices for AI governance and prompt engineering. Requirements: 10+ years in commercial data strategy, data management, and BI within the biopharma industry; experience with data warehouses, CRM, MDM, and AI; prior biotech launch experience; strong leadership, communication, and technical skills. Preferred: Bachelor’s in Information Systems, Data Science, or related fields; graduate degree advantageous. High-Value: expertise in biopharma commercial data ecosystems, AI/ML applications supporting launch and customer engagement, data governance, and omnichannel data integration; deep understanding of data lifecycle, quality, and stewardship; experience with third-party data sources.
