Director, Commercial Data & Analytics Architecture

Role: Lead architecture of Pfizer's commercial analytics data ecosystem, ensuring scalable, governed, and semantic data layers to support brand analytics, forecasting, data science, and AI tools. Responsibilities: define data models, standards, and contracts; oversee federated development models; set technology stack strategies; review and approve data pipelines; translate architecture decisions to stakeholders; and ensure data consistency across BI, forecasting, and AI applications. Requirements: 8+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or analytics engineering; proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake; expertise in data contracts, semantic layers, and enterprise implementation; knowledge of pharma or life sciences commercial data highly preferred. Preferred: advanced degree in relevant fields; experience with regulated industries, data governance tools, and federated data models; ability to influence cross-functional teams and develop technical standards.
