Role: Medical Director responsible for clinical oversight and medical monitoring of trials in neurology and/or autoimmune diseases, contributing to study design and execution of early-phase and proof-of-concept trials. Responsibilities include protocol development, investigator engagement, risk mitigation, data interpretation, and supporting regulatory interactions and submissions. The position offers potential for enterprise-level strategic leadership. Requirements: MD or DO, 2-5 years of clinical or drug development experience, knowledge of clinical trial design, GCP, and biopharma regulatory processes. Preferred qualifications include Board certification in Neurology, expertise in neuroimmunology or autoimmune conditions, and prior support of Phase 1/2 studies, including first-in-human experience. High-value specifics include focus on cell-based immunotherapies for cancer, with involvement in early-stage clinical development, regulatory compliance, and external stakeholder engagement. Collaboration spans internal functions such as Regulatory, Safety, Clinical Operations, Biometrics, and Medical Affairs. Location: flexible within the US; travel up to 25% may be required.
