Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and evolve channel distribution strategies across North America, considering regulations, sustainability, alliances, patient/customer access, data, class of trade, and setting of care.
- Serve as SME on supply chain/distribution laws, channel models, and channel partner capabilities across the US and Canada.
- Maintain deep understanding of Hospital, Specialty & Retail pharmacy channels to support industry-leading patient support.
- Lead a team designing scalable, innovative distribution strategies to maximize access and corporate goals (financial impact, patient/customer experience, alliances).
- Recommend solutions using analytics and considering channel economics, active/pending policy (e.g., serialization/importation, state/federal pricing), reimbursement, setting of care, financial implications, and access dynamics.
- Align stakeholders; deliver recommendations to Senior Leadership and internal governing bodies.
- Partner with Trade, pipeline/inline strategy teams to generate insights informing commercialization planning (forecasting, gross-to-net, operational build).
- Define evolution of distribution programs for new launches, risk mitigation, market/competition changes, portfolio needs, and regulatory/legislative changes.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Expert knowledge of drug distribution channels including cell & gene therapy, specialty distribution, specialty pharmacy, and retail.
- Strategic leadership experience; ability to lead initiatives/projects; strong analytics and trade channel data understanding.
- Understanding of US commercial and government healthcare reimbursement environment.
- Excellent communication; cross-functional collaboration; matrix navigation; manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelorβs degree (Masterβs preferred); 10+ years in commercial market access, trade, and distribution.
- Prior channel distribution experience with cell & gene therapy, rare disease, and small molecule.
Location/Travel:
- HQ or Hybrid (3 days/week in HQ); travel up to 20%.
Pay/Benefits:
- $180,800β$271,200; eligible for annual bonus and equity awards.
