Role Summary

This is a field-based and remote opportunity supporting a Priority Accounts team in an assigned geography.

Director, Cardiovascular Priority Accounts leads the regional priority account team to meet objectives across the cardiovascular portfolio, developing and executing the regional priority accounts customer engagement strategy, and driving product pull-through while coordinating cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the needs of the customer at all levels from departments to C-suite, leveraging insights to anticipate trends and articulate priorities to deliver outcomes.
  • Craft strategic approaches to further organizational goals, fostering key customer relationships that enhance interaction with the account.
  • Oversee strategy and execution prior to and during launch, coordinating collaboration among headquarters, account, and regional leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with account executives at C-suite and D-suite levels, acting as the main cardiovascular contact for account partners to facilitate exchanges with executives and headquarters.
  • Foster teamwork and lead collaboration of regional priority accounts across Customer Engagement teams for the cardiovascular portfolio, coordinating across sales, medical, market access, and patient support functions.
  • Own account performance across the portfolio with a performance-driven mindset, seeking opportunities to impact demand-generating functions and achieve account performance.
  • Facilitate efficient communication between the company and key accounts, including internal team coordination and cross-sector alignment of strategic changes.
  • Lead a team of Priority Account Managers to drive product pull-through in targeted accounts with accountability and resource alignment, coaching and supporting associates' growth and ensuring adherence to policies.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's degree (preferably in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or business-related field).
  • Required: 10+ years‚Äô experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry, technology, or other relevant organizations with large geographically dispersed sales teams and cross-functional experience.
  • Required: 2+ years‚Äô experience in project management and translation of strategy into execution.
  • Required: 2+ years‚Äô experience leading complex projects requiring cross-functional and national alignment.
  • Required: Recent US experience (within last 5 years) with deep understanding of US healthcare ecosystems.
  • Required: Experience working in matrix-driven environments with sales and launch experience.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to attract and develop talent to create empowered, agile, high-performing teams.
  • Required: Ability to travel 60-80% over a broad geography; must have a valid driver‚Äôs license.

Education

  • Bachelor‚Äôs degree (preferred in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or business-related field).

Desirable Qualifications

  • 3+ years‚Äô experience in account management covering Academic Medical Centers, Integrated Health Systems, GPOs, and/or large cardiovascular networks.
  • 3+ years‚Äô experience in cardiovascular therapeutic area.
  • Residence within territory or within reasonable commuting distance of 100 miles from territory border.
