Director, Business Strategy and Operations

Role: Director of Business Strategy & Operations at Kite, overseeing strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, and operational execution within US Commercial to support innovative cancer therapies, including CAR T-cell treatments. Responsibilities: serve as a trusted advisor to the GM, translating strategy into actionable plans, leading planning cycles, managing enterprise initiatives, and enabling effective governance and decision-making. Also, track performance, support product launches, and enhance organizational efficiency through leadership development and communication. Qualifications: advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) with 8+ years or equivalent experience; significant experience in pharma/biotech strategic and operational roles, ideally within commercial, finance, or consulting. Skills: strong strategic thinking, executive presence, stakeholder influence, financial acumen, and change management expertise. HighValue: experience in biopharma, preferably with immunotherapy, cell therapies, or oncology, with a focus on commercial strategy and enterprise planning. WorkSetup: based in Santa Monica, CA, with flexible work policies; eventual relocation to El Segundo, CA or Thousand Oaks, CA planned for 2027; hybrid work model with some remote days.
