Role Summary

The Director, Business Relationship Manager is an integral part of the Digital Information Delivery team based out of Teaneck, NJ (Remote). This role leads complex, global technology programs across finance and commercial operations, focusing on ERP, CRM, and E-commerce systems to enhance customer experience and internal efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Business-IT Relationship Management: Manage relationships between IT, finance, commercial business units, and vendors to address needs and ensure open communication across financial and commercial systems.
  • Strategic Planning: Consult with finance and commercial leaders to review IT services and projects, identify gaps, and forecast future technology needs.
  • Digital Initiatives Leadership: Support implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of digital platforms (CRM, e-commerce, mobile apps, websites, ERP, financial tools) aligned with sales, marketing, and finance strategies; collaborate with stakeholders to drive innovation and adoption while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • IT Service Coordination: Coordinate IT service delivery to support finance and commercial functions; ensure ERP and related platforms meet evolving requirements.
  • Business Case & Financial Oversight: Oversee development of business cases and project budgets, including analysis of operational and financial impacts for senior management.
  • Project Management: Develop proposals, charters, and business requirements; present alternative strategies to mitigate risks and improve outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as a liaison between Technology and finance/commercial departments to ensure IT initiatives address business needs and align with company strategy.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive IT experience, including Project Management, Business Analysis, and business relationship roles.
  • 7+ years in management positions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service orientation; deep familiarity with ERP, CRM, and E-Commerce systems and their roles in finance and commercial operations.
  • Ability to build and extend relationships across the organization; navigate complex structures to enable stakeholder alignment and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to translate business needs into technical requirements; ability to manage and direct activities of others in a multi-project environment.
  • Demonstrated success in pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
  • Outstanding communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills; familiar with System Development Life Cycle concepts.

Education
