Director, AI Strategy & Transformation (New Brunswick, NJ)

About the role
- Lead enterprise AI and data agenda strategy and execution.
- Partner with senior executives, AI/business leaders to translate AI/data priorities into measurable business outcomes.
- Serve as key partner to the Co-Chairs of the JJAIC and JJDMC; report to Senior Director, Technology, Strategy & Innovation.

Key responsibilities
- Connect with AI/data initiatives across sectors/functions; identify where councils can create enterprise value.
- Define/prioritize strategic initiatives; identify emerging opportunities to accelerate AI adoption.
- Facilitate workstream/sprint sessions; launch/close sprints; support sprint leads.
- Monitor industry trends; incorporate external perspectives into council strategies.
- Advise leadership on AI priorities, opportunities, risks, and operating models.
- Develop executive communications (business cases, narratives, decision frameworks).
- Drive alignment across business, technology, data, legal, governance.
- Build performance/operational frameworks; own quarterly data quality index governance.
- Track progress, manage risks/interdependencies; present metrics and updates.
- Drive council activities (prep/content/facilitation/follow-up) and steer committees.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years in consulting/corporate strategy/enterprise transformation/Chief of Staff/strategic planning (strongly preferred).
- AI & generative AI familiarity; structured problem framing; financial acumen.
