Role Summary

Direct-to-Patient Solutions Lead for PfizerForAll responsible for shaping the strategy and requirements of Pfizer’s direct-to-patient platform. Key focus includes launching differentiated DTP solutions for obesity and expanding access across migraine, COVID-19 antivirals and vaccines, with seamless telehealth, patient support, home delivery, cash-pay options and prior authorization support. The e-commerce experience is a critical engine for transactions, with potential revenue exceeding $5 billion, and the role requires collaboration with senior Pfizer leaders and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Enable Obesity Portfolio Leadership: Partner with the US Obesity Lead and Chief Marketing Office to deliver a comprehensive direct-to-patient experience for obesity treatments, ensuring patients have access to an efficient and supportive care pathway, and develop strategies to scale the obesity portfolio within PfizerForAll.
  • E-commerce Experience as a Critical Engine: Drive the strategy for the e-commerce platform within PfizerForAll, defining the user journey and requirements to facilitate patient access, engagement, and transactions, supporting a high volume of transactions and enabling cash-paying patients with accessible payment options and streamlined checkout.
  • Own the Patient Journey: Develop and drive requirements for a seamless direct-to-patient journey from initial consultation to ongoing care, ensuring integration across key touchpoints for Primary Care audiences.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Work with the Chief Marketing Office, US Obesity Lead, Platform leads and franchise leaders across Vaccines, Migraine, and Cardiovascular to align the direct-to-patient strategy with broader goals and foster cross-team collaboration.
  • Strategic Partnerships & CEO-Level Engagement: Identify and build strategic partnerships with external digital health companies, telehealth providers, and tech firms; engage with C-suite executives to drive PfizerForAll’s expansion and negotiate partnerships ensuring interoperability.
  • Enable Innovative Patient Access Solutions: Collaborate with cross-functional access and affordability teams and Product/Go-to-Market teams to design online and offline experiences with pricing models, cash pay options, subscriptions, and patient support, using analytics to measure impact and optimize offerings.
  • Cross-Therapeutic Expansion: Provide strategic input into PfizerForAll product and go-to-market roadmaps to support portfolio growth and annual planning.
  • Impactful Data-Driven Strategy: Use data insights to optimize the direct-to-patient experience, leveraging automation and design thinking to improve onboarding, refill adherence, and care continuity, with real-time feedback guiding improvements.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS with 12+ years of work experience or MBA/MS with 10+ years of work experience
  • Experience in digital health, e-commerce, or consumer-facing services with a track record of delivering large-scale programs that drive behavior change and create frictionless patient solutions; experience in digital health is highly preferred; strong knowledge of health data interoperability (EHR, FHIR, eRx, payer APIs)
  • Leadership: proven ability to scale patient-first solutions and manage large cross-functional teams
  • Strategic Vision & Execution: ability to develop and execute long-term strategies for PfizerForAll and drive innovation and patient access solutions
  • Stakeholder Management: ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and interact with C-suite executives
  • Customer-Centered Focus: deep understanding of consumer/patient needs and ability to design and scale patient-first solutions
  • Results-Oriented: strong track record of delivering impact across multiple therapeutic areas and driving high-value e-commerce transactions
