Role Summary

As a Digital Launch Lead, within our Digital Team you will serve as the Single Point of Accountability (SPA) for the digital success of strategic product launches at Sanofi in North America. You will bridge business strategy and technical execution, leading the development and implementation of digital launch strategies that drive experiences for patients, healthcare providers, and other key stakeholders. This high-visibility role offers the opportunity to influence how Sanofi's therapies reach patients through innovative digital solutions, partnering with senior leadership to orchestrate cross-functional initiatives and shape our digital future.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Accountability: Serve as SPA for on-time delivery of all digital launch components in North America; develop and own integrated digital launch strategy; translate market requirements into digital strategies; track and manage digital resources; lead strategic planning sessions; provide strategic counsel on opportunities, risks, and competitive landscape.
  • Governance & Executive Engagement: Serve as digital advisor to Steering Committees and Launch Readiness/Performance Reviews; present strategic recommendations and secure executive approval; coordinate across Architecture, CX, Business Partners, and Digital Product Lines; deliver executive-level reporting; drive digital agenda items in core team meetings; influence brand strategy in leadership meetings.
  • Strategic Planning & Innovation: Conduct gap analyses against strategy and market trends; define and champion the digital roadmap; identify emerging opportunities (AI, personalization, omnichannel); drive resolution of strategic gaps; advise marketers on technical solutions and innovative approaches; capture learnings and establish best practices.
  • Integration & Complex Problem-Solving: Architect end-to-end integration across topics and platforms; identify and mitigate risks; drive alignment across cross-functional teams without direct authority; resolve conflicts between priorities and limitations; activate synergies between capabilities, business needs, and patient outcomes; support readiness for new capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Required: Masterโ€™s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Information Technology, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Required: 6+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical/biotech with demonstrated strategic impact
  • Required: Proven track record managing complex digital product launches in pharma with measurable business impact
  • Required: Deep strategic understanding of US pharmaceutical market dynamics, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment
  • Required: Extensive experience with digital platforms used in commercial pharma (CRM, patient support, omnichannel, analytics)
  • Required: Strong program/project management expertise with ability to manage multiple high-stakes initiatives
  • Required: Significant experience working with cross-functional teams including IT, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Operations
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic decisions without direct authority
  • Required: Exceptional presentation and communication skills, including executive-level strategic storytelling
  • Required: Budget tracking experience
  • Preferred: Experience with digital platforms (Marketing Suite, iCare+, OneCRM, MedIS, Diamond, Veeva Align, etc.)
  • Preferred: Background in specialty pharmaceutical launches (Immunology, Neurology, Oncology, Rare Diseases) with demonstrated strategic impact
  • Preferred: Experience with advanced analytics, AI/ML applications, or digital innovation in healthcare
  • Preferred: PMP, Agile, or similar project management certifications
  • Preferred: Experience with digital transformation initiatives
  • Preferred: Strategic consulting experience in pharma/life sciences
  • Preferred: Understanding of data privacy, compliance, and GxP requirements in digital health
