POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the value narrative and outcomes for executive leaders across the data and digital portfolio: clarify the why, define measurable outcomes (KPIs/OKRs), and report progress/value realized.
- Translate strategy into an outcomes-based portfolio and prioritized roadmap balancing run/operate, regulatory commitments, technical debt, and innovation.
- Build measurable business cases with current-state baselines; define target KPIs/OKRs and track benefits realization through adoption.
- Drive value realization using PAH domain knowledge and AI/LLM/emerging technologies to mature high-impact opportunities from concept to scalable capability.
- Ensure scalable reusable capabilities (platform evolution, build-once patterns) and avoid duplication.
- Champion end-user adoption via change readiness, training/support alignment, and sustained usage.
- Provide matrix leadership to globally distributed technologists (priorities, intent/acceptance criteria, remove blockers).
- Lead/develop Business Partner talent and strengthen executive communication.
- Maintain financial/execution discipline (forecasts/budgets, surface tradeoffs, escalate risks).
- Manage software spend and vendor performance; drive sourcing decisions balancing value/risk/TCO.
- Plan/execute application/platform lifecycle strategies (upgrade, modernization, deprecation, retirement).
- Own vulnerability posture reporting and remediation to verified closure.
- Lead VDT operational delivery (incident/problem/change, operating model, metrics, continuous improvement).
- Govern license provisioning/compliance (allocations, reclaim, renewals/audits, utilization).
- Own end-to-end reliability/day-to-day operations for VMRD Edge site(s).
- Govern/optimize application/software portfolio; maintain inventory and report health/risk/value.
- Lead portfolio intake/prioritization, manage dependencies/capacity, and provide governance/executive reporting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, IS, CS, Engineering, Genetics, or related) or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in technology/digital portfolio leadership, IT business partnership, product management, consulting, or equivalent.
- 5+ years leading enterprise/global technology portfolios/products/transformation with accountability for prioritization, investment decisions, and measurable outcomes.
- Executive stakeholder management, value storytelling, and outcomes measurement (KPIs/OKRs).
- Business case building and benefits realization/adoption.
- Cross-functional delivery via influence/matrix leadership.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Portfolio shaping/roadmap prioritization/demand management.
- Business-case development (baselining, KPI/OKR definition, benefits tracking) and executive-ready communication.
- Matrix leadership and delivery governance (intent/acceptance criteria, dependency management).
- Financial discipline (forecasting, budget, vendor spend).
- Understanding of data/analytics and digital product delivery fundamentals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA/MS.
- AI/LLM-enabled capability scaling with appropriate controls.
- Platform thinking/build-once patterns.
- Service management and run/operate metrics.
- Commercial org and/or genetics domain exposure.
- Experience leveraging shared services (e.g., GBS/India) and vendors.
