Territory Account Specialist (TAS) — field-based/remote support for key accounts in an assigned geography. Novartis does not offer relocation support; apply only if the location is accessible. Company will not sponsor visas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Navigate and resolve account challenges with tailored solutions.
- Build and execute a strategic territory plan to drive product demand and improve patient outcomes.
- Partner with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to deliver access support.
- Use market/competitive knowledge and territory data to anticipate opportunities and respond with agility.
- Lead impactful customer engagements (virtual or in person) using local insights.
- Facilitate planning sessions with stakeholders to solve complex challenges across functions.
- Provide real-time access support in collaboration with Patient Specialty Services (PSS).
- Use digital tools and omni-channel strategies to personalize outreach.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year).
- Experience (within last 5 years) in pharma/biotech/healthcare or complex sales; associate level may have limited sales experience.
- Proven performance selling to large accounts/key customers.
- Self-starter with analytical/ethical leadership and compliance mindset.
- Reside within the territory or within 50 miles of the border; travel 60–80%; valid driver’s license.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience across therapeutic groups/disease states/account strategy/new product launches.
- Knowledge of patient services, market access, buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and/or medical calling on HCPs.
Compensation/Benefits (US eligible):
- Salary range: $77,000–$245,700 (level-dependent) + performance-based cash incentive; may be eligible for annual equity awards.
- Benefits include health/life/disability, 401(k) with company match, and time off.
Driving is essential (fully valid, unrestricted driver’s license).
