Role: The Inflammation and Immunology Dedicated Case Coordinator (DCC) manages patient access to PDPA and VFM products in a field-based, non-promotional role. Main objectives include owning the full patient journey from enrollment through post-fill follow-up, providing reimbursement and coverage education, and serving as the primary contact for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers. Responsibilities encompass benefits investigation, prior authorization, appeals support, appointment coordination, program administration, prescription triage, and ongoing follow-up, all within a compliant, system-managed environment. The role requires 8+ years of pharmaceutical or related experience, including at least 6 months in access and reimbursement roles, with proficiency in Polaris CRM and knowledge of specialty medication pathways, copay programs, and insurance processes. High-value biopharma specifics involve supporting patients prescribed immunology or inflammation biologics or small molecules at various stages, mainly in outpatient settings, with some travel (~10-20%). The position is remote, based in the Mountain Time Zone, with a focus on compliance, adverse event reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with field colleagues, payers, and vendors. Preferred skills include strong communication, relationship-building, critical thinking, and familiarity with patient support programs, HUB operations, and digital tools like Docusign and encrypted email platforms.
