Purpose:
The Clinical Data Strategy and Operations (CDSO) Data Strategy Lead is the study start-up domain expert and strategic partner to the clinical study team, owning all data-related study start-up deliverables from protocol development through system design and go-live.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as CDSO study start-up subject matter expert/SPOC for assigned studies; own data-related start-up deliverables through system go-live.
- Lead data management study start-up end-to-end; partner across CDSO and the study team to enable on-time study start using analytics and project management tools to track progress, manage risk, and resolve issues.
- Ensure consistency across studies/therapeutic areas in data strategy, standards, CRFs, and surveillance approaches; provide decision-ready guidance.
- Drive pull-through of critical-to-quality factors and data criticality assessments into downstream data systems.
- Ensure adherence to federal/applicable local regulations, GCP, ICH, AbbVie SOPs, and quality standards; stay current on evolving guidance.
- Influence without direct authority using data/evidence; lead innovation and process improvement initiatives.
- Coach and mentor team members.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s in business/MI systems/CS/life sciences or equivalent; Masterโ€™s preferred. PMP or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt desired.
- 6+ years pharma/clinical research/data management/health care experience OR 8+ years project management experience (or equivalent).
- In-depth understanding of clinical trial processes and clinical technology; lead management of a trial from initiation to completion preferred.
- Demonstrated functional leadership, influence in matrix environments, coaching/mentoring, communication, and analytical skills.
