Research Opportunity
Develop and apply cutting-edge AI methods integrating ECG, genomic, and proteomic data using large multimodal datasets (biobanks, clinical studies, real-world data) to discover biomarkers, disease mechanisms, and improve patient stratification.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop/apply multimodal AI/ML and statistical methods integrating ECG, genomic, and proteomic data.
- Analyze large-scale multimodal datasets to identify novel biomarkers and mechanisms.
- Design, implement, and evaluate predictive and interpretable models linking physiological signals to molecular/genetic variation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (data science, genetics, clinicians, cardiovascular research).
- Communicate results via publications, conferences, and internal seminars.
Essential Requirements
- PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline; PhD conferred in 2026 only.
- Record of scientific achievement (publications/presentations/patents or equivalent).
- Strong quantitative background in data science/statistics/ML/bioinformatics/computational biology/CS/biomedical engineering or related.
- Python and/or R; experience with large-scale datasets.
- Hands-on statistical/ML experience on biomedical/clinical/imaging/signal/omics high-dimensional data.
- Experience building/evaluating predictive models.
- Ability to work independently in a collaborative environment; strong communication skills.
Desirable Requirements
- Statistical genetics and/or multi-omics experience.
- ECG/physiological signal analysis with deep learning/foundation models.
